The treatment uses multi-needle injection to inject hyaluronic acid under the surface of the skin in a fast and efficient manner.
The V2 skin booster utilises a new delivery device, the V2 injector gun, which allows for precise and accurate dosage of hyaluronic acid, anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals to the sub dermis of the skin. It offers precise depth and accurate dosing in a quick treatment with minimal pain and downtime for clients.
The V2 injector gun uses multi-needles – from 5 needles up to 9, allowing for the procedure to be performed in a short treatment time. The benefit of multi-needle injections allows for decrease in the amount of pain experienced by clients during the procedure as the sensation is decreased relative to single needle injections.
The device is innovative in that it works by applying a light suction to the skin prior to every injection. This leads to a more comfortable and accurate procedure, allowing for accurate and precise depth delivery, ensuring the patient receives a uniform delivery of product to the area being treated. This also reduces bruising and swelling.
The V2 can be used on multiple areas to increase hydration and deliver hyaluronic acid to the skin. Common treatment areas are the face, neck, décolletage and hands, areas in the past which have been difficult to treat accurately with the single needle injection technique.

After the series of 3 treatments, 3 weeks apart, the results will last up to 12 months post treatment with a single treatment to be undertaken to continue the results for another 12 months.
Patients require minimal downtime post treatment and can return back to their normal activities almost immediately after treatment. Some patients may have slight bruising and blotchiness post treatment, which will usually settle after four days. Downtime is reduced after each subsequent treatment due to the dermis being repaired.
