What is MiniFX?

At Face Value, double chin reduction and jawline defining procedures are some of our most popular treatments. MiniFX is an ideal way to treat submental fullness or the appearance of a “double chin”. MiniFX uses radio frequency (RF), deep tissue heating and negative pressure for fat reduction, contraction and contouring. Specially-designed for treating small and hard-to-reach regions of the body including the area below the chin, MiniFX targets stubborn pockets of fat resulting in slimmer, smoother and tighter skin.

MiniFX is a non-invasive treatment that focuses RF energy precisely at areas of unwanted fatty tissue, which absorbs the energy as heat. This heating destroys the fat cells and causes tissue contraction while also stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen.

What does it involve?

Consultation
For best results we recommend that weekly sessions are performed over a six to eight week period. Your MiniFX regime will be customised with one of the Face Value team to meet your treatment goals.

Treatment, Recovery and Results
MiniFX is a comfortable, pain free procedure. During treatment you can expect a warming of your skin and gentle pulling sensation as the radio frequency and negative pressure suction work to smooth out unwanted stubborn pockets of fat.

There is absolutely no downtime for MiniFX, meaning you are free to resume regular activities immediately afterwards. You may notice redness and warmth in the treated area, however, this will subside after a few hours.

You will begin to notice improvements in your skin’s appearance following two or three treatments, which will only continue to gradually improve with time and additional treatments.
